Because of the increases at St. Stephen’s the Society found it necessary to investigate a different meeting location. The board has decided to change our meeting location to the Troy Community Center, 3179 Livernois Road, Troy, MI 48083 (just north of Big Beaver), beginning with the meeting to be held on December 4, 2012.
The Community Center room provides seating for more than 125 in comfortable, modern chairs, with tables available as needed, a large LCD screen and projector with sound reinforcement, and free wireless internet. The Society will pay 75% less than at St. Stephen’s, a substantial savings. Free parking is available in a well-lit lot at the building. The meeting room is just inside the east entrance, which is marked “Banquet Entrance”, but can be reached by entering through any of the doors.
We are sorry to make this change in the middle of the program year, but believe it is in the best interests of the Society to do so. Relocating our meetings will allow us to live within our budget and continue the services we currently provide.
